About
Who We Are
Silverbrook Intermediate School helps students take an important step between elementary school and what comes next. From the supportive feel of elementary school they left behind to the growing independence of middle school, Silverbrook prepares about 340 sixth-grade students to succeed in school and beyond.
Our Mission
Empowering ALL students to be successful learners.

Learning Style
For the majority of their day, students are placed in houses of two or three teachers. There, they learn with the same group of peers, similar to elementary school.
Yet, the intermediate school structure also allows them to take a world language and participate in choir, band, or orchestra, which can be one or two years earlier than most other school districts.

Our Performance
For the 2024-2025 school year, Silverbrook Intermediate received a Significantly Exceeds Expectations rating and a 84.2 score on the Wisconsin DPI Report Card. View the full 2024-2025 report card for more information. Go to the DPI website for even more information.
In November 2025, U.S. News & World Report ranked Silverbrook in the top 6% of all Wisconsin middle schools (no category for intermediate schools!).
Performance information is available from the DPI at WISEdash and Wisedash support.
